With everyone stuck at home, there's no other way to catch up with your friends but to call. After a long day of video calls, this can get daunting fast. People even have a name for it: zoom fatigue. Catchy enough. So, what can you do about it?
Here is the failsafe solution if you need. Otherwise, feel free to keep reading 😊
First of all, you need to know the channels:
Facebook - great place to start, messenger offers a native video chat option whether it's a private message or a group.
GoToMeeting - simple and straightforward, GTM is the OG zoom. Set up your meeting room and invite your attendees.
Zoom - same functionalities as GTM, but you get to have a super cool background! (p.s. no need to clean up the room before your meeting!!)
Second, it all depends on the size of your group and what you are feeling like. For me, I love games involving either puzzles or humour, so the search was not too complicated. Here is the list of links I came across.
Cards Against Humanity - great game to play in any group wanting to test each other's sense of humour. The challenge is to adapt your sense of humour to that of the reader... twist is, these cards are not PG.

On this platform, you'll even get to enjoy a family-friendly version of the game!
Hogwarts Escape Room - definitely the easiest on this list, this escape room is perfect for a group looking for quick fun. Bound to make you laugh.

Bank Heist Escape Room - more challenging, you will need to make sure to pay attention for this one. A great bit of fun for family or friends!

Dungeons & Dragons - it may seem daunting, it may seem geeky, but D&D is truly for everyone. The only game where you get to be whatever you want, wherever you want, however you want.

For that last one, I put the link for Roll20, a virtual tabletop game platform. This being said, D&D can be played from anywhere! All you need is your friends, your imagination & a 20-sided dice.
Hope this helps! Feel free to comment some more ideas & start a chat
How are you coping?
